Please read the detailed description and then select the application that best fits your desire to volunteer.

• FIRST TIME Volunteer - If this is the first time you are volunteering on a campus or site OR you are going to serve as an intern with CIS, please complete our First Time Volunteer application. (Also see One Time/Special Event below)
• RETURNING Volunteer- Who uses the Returning Volunteer Application?
  (NOTE to RETURNING VOLUNTEERS: UPDATED VOLUNTEER SERVICE AGREEMENT NEEDS YOUR ATTENTION!
• You have previously completed the first time volunteer application
• You have previously turned in your references forms, had a criminal history background check and you have attended a volunteer training session.
• MIDDLE SCHOOL MENTORING MATTERS APPLICATION- If you would like to mentor a middle school student through our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters please fill out this application. The MMM application is a Microsoft Word Document. If you do not have Microsoft Word installed on your computer, you can still view and print the form by downloading Word Viewer 2003 from the Microsoft website (click here). If you wish to have a paper copy of the application mailed to you, email gina at ghumble@cisaustin.org
• ONE TIME/Special Event Volunteer - Are you an individual volunteering for just one event or want to sign on as an ongoing Special Event volunteer? Are you an employee or business owner volunteering to do a one time project? Maybe you're joining us on a Super Saturday. Then this is the volunteer application you need to complete. NOTE: You only need to complete this application one time. If you want to volunteer for another one time event, simply email us (volunteer@cisaustin.org) and let us know!
• PARENT VOLUNTEER - Are you a Parent at a CIS School and want to volunteer in your child's classroom? (CIS Padres)

Reference Forms for FIRST TIME Volunteers - Print the appropriate number of reference forms as noted for the volunteer services you will be performing. Please bring your completed references with you to your initial interview with our volunteer services department.
